2. What this is about

This notice applies to the website apexstudios-de.github.io. Our apps have their own privacy policies; for Apex Cosmos, see the one linked under "Apex Cosmos". This website uses no cookies, no analytics or audience measurement, no forms, and loads no fonts, scripts or images from third-party servers.

3. Hosting via GitHub Pages

The website is provided through GitHub Pages, a service of GitHub, Inc., 88 Colin P. Kelly Jr. St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. When you open a page, GitHub processes your device's IP address and technical details such as the time, the page requested and the browser identifier. According to GitHub, the IP address of visitors to a GitHub Pages site is logged and stored for security purposes, even if you are not signed in to GitHub. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is to make the legally required information and the privacy policies of our apps publicly available, permanently and reliably, without running our own server.

4. Transfers to third countries

GitHub may process the data in the USA. According to GitHub, it is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and also relies on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

5. Retention

How long GitHub keeps access data is governed by GitHub's rules, over which we have no influence.

6. If you write to us

If you write to the address given above, we process your e-mail address and the content of your message in order to answer it. The inbox is operated by Google (Gmail), so your message is held on the servers of a US provider. We delete the message once the enquiry has been dealt with and no retention obligation stands in the way.
